Amazon.com redesign
Posted by: Admin on Sep 11, 2007

Amazon who perfected it's use of tabbed navigation scheme for more than a decade, spending hundreds-of-thousands-of-dollars in research and design, removed them in the latest redesign. One of the other changes is the color of the top navigation bar. It has changed to a different (and slightly more fetching) shade of blue.
We traveled around the world, inviting customers like you to come and try out the new features and design. We listened to their feedback and made changes based on their opinions. Then we asked more customers for their advice, and we made more changes from their feedback. The design you see today reflects the input of many real-life customers of our U.S. and international websites.
Amazon attracts millions of visitors daily, and a redesign like this is being pushed out slowly so don't be surprised if you don't see the change. What are your opinions on this change?
