Amazon reveals Kindle App for the iPad

We all knew it was coming but Amazon just made it official. Kindle app together with a library of more then 450,000 books is coming to Apple's iPad. It is great news for everyone that decides to purchase the iPad as more and more businesses decide to expand their presence to the new platform. Barnes and Noble's is also bringing their store to the iPad as was announced earlier

One cool feature of the Kindle app is that the app's developers have played around a little with Kindle's silhouetted figure reading under a tree iconography. In cover-navigation view, the sky behind the silhouetted figure will change according to what time of day it is.
